The Kreativ Network recently had the pleasure of working with Mojo in the Morning, a popular radio show in Metro Detroit, to design and develop a new website that would help them promote their Breaking & Entering Christmas Wish program. This program collects donations from listeners and uses them to bring the holiday spirit to families who are experiencing misfortune. The project focused on creating a fast, responsive website that showcased past and present Christmas wishes. While also making it easy for users to donate and submit their stories to the Mojo in the Morning team.

To start the project, the Kreativ Network conducted extensive research. Understanding the preferences of the Mojo in the Morning show’s target audience was essential. We then developed a website design optimized for desktop and mobile devices, focusing on user experience and ease of use. The website design included a section dedicated to showcasing past and present Christmas wishes and an easy-to-use donation page. We then created a form for users to submit their stories to the Mojo in the Morning team.

Creating a Fast and Efficient Website Layout

We optimized the website for fast load times by optimizing images and reducing page sizes wherever possible. Load time is critical for user engagement, as research has shown that users will abandon a website if it takes too long to load. In fact, according to Google, if a page takes longer than three seconds to load, 53% of mobile users will abandon the page. By focusing on fast load times, we ensured that users stayed on the website and engaged with its content.

We built the website on a responsive framework, allowing it to adapt to different screen sizes and devices. This technique ensures a seamless user experience for all visitors. The responsive design allowed users to easily navigate the website, regardless of their device, which resulted in higher engagement rates.
